If I may, i would have played it diferent then you did.
Instead of staying in his kill range, as you did, and trade valiants for nightfalls shots.
I would have broken distace fast,2nd turn.
Would have teleported in his 1 range where he only has 1 anihilation and stomp, and ash his azz.
Next turn he would need to stomp, and by then i would have drained him, with 2 ash gen hit.
Your design has all that it needs to win it.
You just didnt see the opening.
Sometimes the pilot makes the diference, sometimes luck, but in most cases wepons do all the work.
